It is solid pine wood that has been milled with a tongue and groove. It is a process of joining the wood together and has been around for many years. The floorboards are all fitted with protruding (tongue) and concave (groove) parts that fit together like puzzle pieces.

This profile makes it possible to control vertical movement between adjoining boards. Horizontal movements are still allowed to a small degree. This is a fantastic quality as wood tends to extract and contract. Tongue and groove floors are seamed up tightly, so there is basically no need for nailing or gluing to hold the boards together. If a proper finish is applied, they can even be water-tight.

• 22mm x 102mm (Lengths 2.4m – 3m)
• 32mm x 102mm (Lengths 3.6m – 6m)
